Interview with Sam Parker – Social Media and Influencer Project Manager at Universal Studios

Sam Parker a Social Media and Influencer Project Manager at Universal Studio assisted in the  “Fountain of Youth: How Brands Can Drink From It” panel on Saturday, March 10 in the Fairmont. Sam, along with her colleague Donna Bates, instagram influencer Ariel Martin, and Amy Cotteleer advocate the advantages and opportunities of using social media influencers as a way to market to younger demographics in an effective and fun way!

The trend over the last few years for many big companies has been to use influencer marketing to tap into the young adult and teen demographics, as well as to take advantage of their already develop audience base. This past year Universal Studios decided to give this a shot by launching an influencer based campaign as a way to provide an authentic and fun content experience, as well as provide a return on investment for the brand. The results were better than they could have ever expected and are excited to continue with this marketing initiative!
