The Breaking Thru a Tweet Driven News Cycle & Culture panel featured industry professionals discussing how news outlets can maintain their depth of content in an age dominated by the convenience of digital brevity. Speakers included Anna Holmes of Topic.com, Jenna Weiss-Berman of Pineapple Street Media, and Betsy Reed of The Intercept.

During the panel, Reed highlighted a documentary her team created called Concussion Protocol. The short film delved into the very real horrors football players face after multiple concussions on the field. I spoke with Reed about how her publication is able to translate impactful stories like this into a successful Twitter narrative.
