Recreation.gov: A Digital Citizen Story

Earlier, I recounted that it took me a while to pinpoint Booz Allen Hamilton’s location at the SXSW week-and-a-half long event. Upon finding the establishment in the Omni Hotel, I was able to peruse the collection of displays that they had (ranging from environmental sensitive technology to motion sensor television), and even snagged an interview with Mrs. Jacque Meyers!

One of the other events that I attended was a panel called “Recreation.gov: A Digital Citizen Story.” This was hosted by Mr. Will Hanley, Mrs. Julie McPherson, and Mr. Haluk Salar of Booz Allen Hamilton. The presentation at hand focused on the organization making ideas and aspirations of individual and business partners happening through collective data communications.

“The agencies recognize that their mission is focused on the consumer, and we’re very passionate about that,” Hanley stated. The organization works with consumers and businesses to ensure that their clientele get the most out of whatever recreational and interactive experiences that they seek
