Adaptive Athletics: The Rise of the Super Athlete?

Three former and current athletes will host this panel along with Alena Grabowski, Ph.D. to discuss the controversy that is reconstructing competitive sports. Scout Bassett, Brian Frasure and Blake Leeper have each had a life-changing experience that has caused them to live with a prosthesis, but that experience only challenged them to perform to the best of their abilities. This panel will discuss the Paralympic athletes who are breaking records, but the questions is whether or not this technology is an advantage or disadvantage.

During this panel, Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Performance at University of Kansas Andrea Hudy and Dr. Phil Wagner, founder and CEO of Sparta Science, will discuss how technology can help predict and prevent potential injury within an athlete.
