SXSW panelists share a number of current practices and new ideas at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine. The following are five panels geared toward discovering how to improve our future health and enabling the marginalized to more easily integrate with society.
Experimenting in a Microgravity Lab
The International Space Station is home to a number of science experiments designed to inform us how matter changes with reduced gravity. Scientists from the National Science Foundation, UC Santa Barbara and the National Science Board share the implications these experiments have on our future health from bioengineered prosthetics to surviving space exploration.

Joanna Shields of BenevolentAI shares how to streamline the new medicine process. Currently, new medications take over 10 years to get approved for public use, and most attempts fail.
