On Puerto Rico: When Natural Disasters Need Technology

In September 2017, the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Maria. It was a disaster of historic proportions, and reports have said that the island will never be the same. It has been six months since the hurricane changed the lives of every Puerto Rican, and it has ensued a fraught conversation on the speed and success of aid.

“Everyone wanted to help, there’s no shortage of people’s desire to help—it’s just that most people simply didn’t know how or where to do so,” BA Snyder, founder of Veritas Group Public Relations, said.

Hurricane season is just around the corner, and her overall goal would be to keep the conversation going via #connectpuertorico
