He runs a site called Smntcs.com, which covers different genres of music and other entertainment categories. Ashrawi was interviewed by Darian Harvin, who runs a podcast called, “Am I Allowed to Like Anything Anymore?”. Harvin broadcast this episode of her podcast live from the Fairmont panel session. Ashrawi has worked with numerous artists, like Bun B and Thundercat. He is currently working on a documentary called “All Star Tribute to UGK”, and co-produced and directed an animated short called “Afrofuturism,” because he feels as though black people and futurism are two categories that don’t often intersect.
