Going digital has been the buzzword for years but when areas of our lives viewed as more traditional begin to adopt digital products, it completely changes the way we use something. States Innovate and Citizen Identities Go Digital talked about how Wyoming and Maryland are some of the first states to adopt digital driver’s licenses. Tiffany Conway, Director of Field Marketing from digital security and license provider, Gemalto. Conway brought her viewpoint into the conversation yesterday with how the technology works and what states can do to adopt this at their level. Conway said, “states are interested in finding ways they can serve their constituents better.”
While there are multiple stakeholders invested in a digital form of identification, the time is now for states and various government agencies to adopt the next digital product.
