Meet Abdullah Ahmed. As we were waiting in line for a panel, I had a conversation with Abdullah Ahmed who flew 24-hours from Pakistan to come to SXSW. The conversation was very natural and looking back at the video, I realized I didn’t get any of the actually important information on video! However, if you’re roaming SXSW, he will be pitching his idea so look out for him!

Abdullah built a start-up named CricFlex. CricFlex will essentially benefit athletes who participate in Cricket, which is a big sport in Pakistan. It is a sleeve that doctors can use on athletes to determine injury or physical capability. This benefits the amount of time they could play Cricket professionally, or help prevent serious injury. Abdullah said the start-up focuses on Cricket, but will eventually grow to benefit athletes of all sports.

Aside from pitching his start-up, Abdullah is most interested in all things sports! It was a pleasure meeting someone who has a goal to help athletes perform at their best ability.
