On my fourth day attending SXSW, I decided to take the day very easily. I chose to enjoy the Trade Show and do a lot of walking around, trying new things, and skipping out on the panels.
The day was surprisingly very great! The very first set-up I went to was the Visit Irving, TX booth. What I had to do was take a picture with them and the photo would print out. They had a wall of people’s photos pasted onto it. Whenever the photo printed out, it told you which row and column number to place the photo, That placement would tell you if you won the giveaway or not. Well….. I WON! The prize was free concert tickets and a package giveaway either at a hotel or dining. Man, it was the hardest decision of my life trying to choose which concert to go to.
Another cool set-up I visited was the Time Machine. It was a virtual reality experience of Shibuya, Japan in 1964. It took us all over the city and it felt so real. My next trip destination is definitely going to be Japan!
The Trade Show is definitely one of my favorite parts about SXSW so far. I really enjoy listening in on professionals from different countries.
