The Texas State Innovation Lab is an interactive event held during SXSW, and this year it was at the W Hotel in downtown Austin on Sunday, March 11. The Innovation Lab is a chance for Texas State students to showcase their innovative inventions on how to make the world a better, more functional place. With 15 teams, including our very own SXTXState, there was a lot to see in a short amount of time. I was able to interview Amanda Gregory to talk a little more about her innovative invention, Pockets. Their ultimate goal is to create more suitable jeans for women, whether that means to make them more size inclusive or to make them out of better material.
