Walmart Stumbles in Shift to Web Selling

As Walmart continues to make itself relevant and battle with online megastore, Amazon, its online shop’s stock fell more than 10% on Tuesday. This was the biggest one-day drop in stock price since 1988 for the superstore. The drop in stock is due to Walmart mis-judging its online inventory during Holiday 2017. Walmart continues to focus on the online shopping experience after unexpectedly closing 10% of its Sam’s Clubs stores earlier this year.

This 22-Year-Old is Partnering with Industry Powerhouse to Revolutionize Prosthetics

Easton LaChapelle has been building robotic arms since a young age. At age 17, he founded Unlimited Tomorrow, which manufactures robotic prosthetics and creates a learning platform for such developments. Since then, LaChapelle has partnered with tech companies such as Microsoft, Dassault Systèmes, and Stratasys. Unlimited Tomorrow is launching affordable robotic prosthetics, specifically by working with Stratasys, who is providing 3D printing to make this possible.

Samsung Galaxy Smartphone Images Leaked by MWC App

Much like what Apple went through last September with the iPhone X hack, Samsung is now facing a similar situation. While experts say this should not spoil the official unveiling, it does answer some questions Samsung Galaxy users have surrounding the latest phone. Circulating are images of a computer-generated model of the phone which were used for an augmented reality experience at Samsung’s Mobile World Congress.

Snapchat Responds to Users Critical of Redesign: ‘We Hear You’

Snapchat began integrating a new re-design and its user base did not fail to voice their concerns. After receiving over 1.2 million signatures on Change.org. Snapchat is listening to their users and is working on creating a better user experience. Updates will include easier ways to find Stories and better ways to customize the app.

Revealed: Two Secret Cogs in the FBI National Surveillance Machine

Forbes recently uncovered two previously-undisclosed units from the FBI’s surveillance machinery. These units, the FBI Collections Operations Group and the FBI WiFi Group, are sub-units within the Data Intercept Technology Unit (DITU) and do no appear in any public records. The FBI Collections Group, also known as the COG, was discovered from the results of a freedom of information act (FOIA) request. The COG provides network equipment to aid with electronic surveillance in various field offices and other government agencies.

‘Black Panther’ Tops Lifetime Gross of Marvel, DC, And X-Men Movies

Marvel Studios‘ newest blockbuster release, Black Panther, has set a record by making $426 million during its first weekend. It has surpassed recent superhero films, Justice League and Logan, as well as numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe films and every Fox produced X-Men franchise film. According to predictions, this will put Black Panther well within the all-time top-10 grossing superhero releases at the North American box office.
