“Sex and tech go together like Austin and breakfast tacos,” said BedPost Confessions Producer Julie Gillis in the show’s debut SXSW performance this afternoon.

BedPost Confessions is a monthly Austin-based show where performers tell their true tales of sex and tech. In today’s mini show, though, the performers weren’t the only ones sharing their stories. Audience members had the opportunity to submit sex-tech confessions of their own via secret confession cards, which were then read aloud by the performers on stage.

While the show traditionally takes place in the evening in bars and smaller, more intimate settings, today’s performance took place in the corner of a large exhibit hall. However, this change of venue didn’t stop BedPost Confessions from delivering exactly what was promised: Smart. Sexy. Stories.

“Sex should be out of the closet,” Gillis said, “tech and all.”
