Wiki Leaks founder Julian Assange skyped into to SXSW. The talk was led by Benjamin Palmer co-founder of the digital agency “The Barbarian Group.” The talk was unfortunately plagued with technical difficulties and Benjamin was forced to text Julian questions as the sound on one side was out.
Assange spoke on how twenty-somethings are more wordly then ever being connected to a digital world.

Speaking on a number of areas Julian spoke on his current state of living in asylum in the Ecudorian embessey.
Talking on a broad level of the coverage of security issues on a he spoke of a new type of refugee that is emerging, security journalists are more secure after they flee the country they are reporting on.
He announced that wiki leaks would be making a new release soon. Though he refused to reference what it might pertain too. Talking how traditional media organizations allow their subjects to be aware before information is released wikileaks does not. He said this defeats the purpose on writing about an alleged subject and allowing them to prepare to respond.

Provocative at times Assange was strong in his opinions and support of the type of journalism that focuses on security issues.
