David Neff and Miriam Kagan hosted a conversational panel about the future of crowdfunding. Specifically, they were looking for a set of rules that nonprofits and others would use when looking for funding from outside sources.
The crowdfunding Bill of Rights is an idea that Neff is very passionate about. After starting the talk with a discussion on the state of programs like Kickstarter and IndieGogo, Neff and Kagan proceeded to the Bill of Rights.
What steps should nonprofits take in order to get funding for a project? What responsibility do crowdfunding programs and nonprofit organizations have to people who donate? All these questions and more go into the comprehensive Bill of Rights.
Afterwards, I talked with Neff about the panel and the future of #FundEthics.
