Meet Chris Yates. Chris is the CEO of Huddle Productions, a video-driven social media company based out of Dallas. Clients include big names like Budweiser, Golds Gym and The Dallas Cowboys.

Although his company specializes in social media marketing, Chris’ background is in journalism. This becomes very apparent when watching the energetic CEO interview some of the biggest names at SXSW Interactive for his company website. This year, Yates interviewed Zappo’s Tony Hsieh, Author Gary Vanyerchuk, and marketing directors from Chevrolet, FedEx, OnStar, and Samsung – all companies with a strong social media presence. He also created a hilarious video titled “How NOT To Be A Douchebag at SXSWi” for CNN.com earlier this week. In it, Chris’ personally demonstrates how not to behave at the conference!

I caught up with Chris on Tuesday to find out more about Huddle Productions, his experience at Interactive, and get his advice on to breaking into social media marketing. Watch the interview below, then be sure to check out at his infamous “How-to” video.
