Evonne Heyning is the CCO and founder of Amoration. The company is based in Los Angeles, California. According to Amoration’s website, the company’s name means living in love and a practice of open engagement. The company provides experienced production teams for mixed reality, virtual worlds and educational interactive experiences. Amoration also studies the energetic created between people and their environment.

Heyning’s panel, Networked Love, Bonding, Intimacy: Our Interactive Culture Clouds, was inspired by a number of messy mishaps she had witnessed at her first SXSW conference and what events unfold when there is unclear communication and boundaries and alcohol is thrown in the mix.

“I noticed a handful of simple, destructive actions that could have easily been avoided, saving lots of grief for entrepreneurs, employees and others in the interactive mix,” she said.

“One CEO yelled through her phone for 20 minutes in the media and press room to her employee about inappropriate party behavior and was completely oblivious to how she was wrecking her company credibility by giving away secrets on a loud phone tirade in a crowded room of bloggers.”

Heyning’s panel will focus on how to gain better knowledge of one’s self. Heyning also wants to arm attendees with knowledge of appropriate ways to address complex situations.

Heyning is still in the process of confirming speaks for the panel but each will come have different perspectives on the issues and come from a variety of backgrounds in order to share their experience and research in the subject.
