The keynote address by Frank Warren on Monday should be interesting. Frank, yes, we are on a first-name basis (not really), is the founder and curator of around 200,000 postcards mailed anonymously from all corners of the world. He has put many of the cards into books that landed on the New York Times best-seller list.
I’m interested to see him because I like to collect really bad postcards from smaller towns. You know, the kind that have an aerial shot of the town comprised of a trailer park, post office and acres and acres of brown. Whether it is water, dirt or dead vegetation, brown is everywhere. I hope he has a collection dedicated to that.
