Sweet John Muehlbauer says that for SXSW, as for many other things, the first time is always special…

And he’s here to make sure that all the first-timers this year have everything they need to get the most out of the always overwhelming SXSW Interactive.

Muehlbauer has been attending Interactive for 18 years and has worn many hats during that time: staffer, volunteer, guerrilla marketer, you name it.  He’ll be speaking the first day of the conference on all the tips and tricks he’s picked up over the years and why he thinks there are Perks to Being a SXSW Newbie.  He’ll also be sharing his thoughts on what makes Interactive great and how to take advantage of all the opportunities it has to offer.
