For some reason I have never thought of the number of women seeking funding for start-ups. I guess that plays right into the point that it is just normal and acceptable for us to think of men as primarily those creating start-ups. I think this is an important panel to have and really what SXSWi is all about in that it opens our eyes to things going on that we maybe wouldn’t ever think of.
