Information either stored or accessed through the cloud technologies has produced a number of problems for both companies and consumers.

As the use of cloud technologies increases, many people have become concerned with the stagnating method of security stemming from models physical storage models.

The datacenter of cloud computing has altered the previous static control using physical storage to a more visual dynamic control using cloud storage . As a result, new models of security and availability of data are changing as a result of the shift to the cloud.
“Admin of the infrastructure, developers and end-users are three main entry points to cloud information,” said Technical Solutions Architect VMware, Wade Holmes.

Cloud computing grants companies convenience to access data and for end-users access data from mobile devices, but cloud computing has raised a security issue for many companies about placing highly sensitive data out on the cloud.

As new devices and applications to access information on the cloud have evolved, some companies found that security issues have also evolved.

“Security awareness and training, no matter what the solution is security for cloud will have to be improved,” said Holmes. “It is a different environment when working on the cloud.”
