With an emphasis on songwriters and their art, Austin’s House of Songs is a unique and innovative part of a larger whole.  The House of Songs – with locations in Austin and in Denmark – is a partnership between Danish songwriters guilds and Austin songwriters and producers, providing a forum for collaboration between artists in both locations.

We were fortunate to catch up with representatives from both sides of the equation.  Songwriters/musicians/producers Troy Campbell (Austin, presenting at SXSWi 2011) and Jens Lysdal (Denmark) provided us with a wonderfully candid and cozy interview (over sushi!):
